A New Beginning shows its gameplay in a new trailer

Announced last year, Outcast 2: A New Beginning returns during the THQ Nordic showcase with a new trailer, which this time shows us some gameplay.

Cutter Slade puts on a show

In this new video, the title still developed by Appeal Studio gives us a brief overview of the gameplay of this Outcast 2: A New Beginning, introduced in particular by a Talan, the inhabitants of the planet Adelpha. Here we can see that in addition to his Jetpack, Cutter Slade can also fly with a kind of swingsuit.

What’s more, the bugger can use a shield to defend yourself, but also hit the many robotic enemies that our hero will have to fight. And of course, our protagonist will have to visit many places such as a temple with lush jungles, passing through caves, but also snowy mountains.

On the gameplay side, the software will obviously offer something a little more dynamic on the gunfights glimpsed on this video, with the possibility of making quite stylish moves for once. Suffice to say that the draw of Appeal Studio looks a little more promising than the remake of the first part, and know that it will also be possible to improve its weapons via a system of modules, showing that an RPG aspect should be part of it.

In sum, Outcast 2 : A New Beginning may well surprise positively, and note that the game still doesn’t have a release date, but is slated for release on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X.
