A total of 27 teams are taking part in the qualification for the 2022/23 Europa League. As in 2021/22, there are only two phases: 3rd qualifying round and play-offs. Ten teams make it to the group stage.
There are home and away games. If no decision has been made following 180 minutes, there is extra time (and possibly penalties).
