Casablanca: discovery of a bag filled with hashish on a beach in Aïn Sebaâ

Kiosk360. On the Nahla beach of Aïn Sebaâ, the national security elements were mobilized following the discovery of a large plastic bag containing more than five kilograms of hashish. This article is a press review of the daily Al Ahdath Al Maghribia.

On the Nahla beach, under the prefecture of Sidi Bernoussi, the appearance of a large plastic bag filled with hashish mobilized, on August 10, the national security elements, then on morning patrol that day on the shore from the beach, raises the daily Al Ahdath Al Maghribia in its August 12 issue.

According to the newspaper’s sources, the large plastic bag was seized by national security forces. For their part, the scientific police confirmed that the bag discovered did indeed contain a significant quantity of hashish packaged and intended for trade. According to the first elements of the investigation, the bag contained five kilograms of cannabis resin.

According to witnesses quoted by the daily Al Ahdath Al Maghribia, the appearance of this large plastic bag initially aroused the curiosity of dozens of vacationers who were present on the beach that day. According to close sources consulted by the newspaper, the local authorities have been closely monitoring the beach since the appearance of this bag. The police are indeed expecting the probable appearance of other bags.

A few hours before the appearance of this bag, the daily Al Ahdath Al Maghribia reveals that a pursuit has been initiated by the coast guard in the area. The latter were indeed tracking an inflatable boat along Nahla beach. According to the newspaper, those who were there are suspected of having thrown the bag found later on the same beach.
