“This event was the one that triggered… different actions by the criminal group,” said Undersecretary Ricardo Mejía Berdeja, who added that they seized weapons, tactical equipment and an illegal broadcast antenna. The Jalisco government had already reported that nine cars, a “monster” truck of handmade armor, 31 rifles, four machine guns, pistols and explosives were seized.
