Burkina: Two new High Commissioners installed in the Cascades region
Banfora, (AIB)-The Secretary General of the Cascades region, Anastasie Sawadogo/Sawadogo installed Monday and Tuesday, respectively in Sindou and Banfora Mahamadi Kongo and Hamadou Idrissa Massa in their new functions as High Commissioner of Leraba and Comoe.
From now on, it is up to Mahamadi Kongo and Hamadou Idrissa Massa, both Civil Administrators, to preside over the destinies of the provinces of Léraba and Comoé respectively.
Mahamadi Kongo was installed in Sindou, capital of the province of Léraba on Monday August 8, 2022 and Hamadou Idrissa Massa took office on Tuesday, August 09, 2022 in Banfora, capital of the province of Comoé. They replace in these positions respectively Adjara Kiétéga and Aminata Gouba who each spent nearly five years at the head of these provinces.
The incoming High Commissioners all thanked the highest authorities of Burkina for the confidence placed in their modest person. They requested the support of their close collaborators as well as that of the entire population, to succeed in their missions.
The new High Commissioners say they appreciate the scope of the work and say they are aware of the requirements of the position. This is why they have made a commitment to work to earn this trust.
Mahamadi Kongo was previously secretary general of the province of Kadiogo while Hamidou Idrissa Massa was the High Commissioner of the province of Oudalan with capital Gorom-Gorom.
The outgoing High Commissioner of Léraba Adjara Kiétéga is now Secretary General of the Boucle du Mouhoun region and the outgoing High Commissioner of Comoé has been assigned to the same post in Ganzourgou.
