The fall 2022-2023 global fashion season sees intricate shimmering embroideries and sparkly grains dominating gown designs, with fashion designers around the world focusing on muted colors, gold and silver. This comes following the fashion sector recovered from the effects of the spread of the Corona virus, which made the cuts enter the highly competitive space among international fashion houses.
Egyptian fashion designer Hani El-Behairy presented his new designs for the fall season, and expressed through 35 dresses the recovery of the fashion field following the Corona pandemic, which cast a shadow on the fashion world during the past two years.
And the royal wedding dress came in a sophisticated golden color, which caught the eye for its elegant design and sparkling golden threads. Al-Buhairi said that he focused on the silver color and shiny grains in the designs of the autumn dresses, and chose to have a variety of styles between long and short.
Al-Buhairi chose some short designs with feathers on the shoulders, as well as some distinctive pieces of high-end long dresses with an external “cap” that the model wore over the dress of the same color.
He was keen to add a special touch to the collection away from gold and silver, as he presented a long black dress decorated with roses from the front and presented by the model following using a rose collar on the head to complete the charming look.

Designers of international fashion houses competed to present their new designs for the fall season, including the international Lebanese designer Zuhair Murad, whose designs were inspired by myths and aesthetic symbols of cosmic nature. He presented 10 different stories within 10 distinctive pieces that he used with feathers and luxurious fabrics, and varied between long, fluffy dresses and short ones with a removable train, and the Murad collection came under the title Les Arts Divinatoires.

Giorgio Armani Privé exaggerated its fall collection, introducing sparkly grains, voluminous ruffles, and large pleats, while adding lots of shiny accessories to most designs. The colors of the dresses varied between shades of black, navy and white, and some pieces came in bold colors such as pink and blue.

With the same exaggeration, Giambattista Valli presented his own collection and relied on the large elements to decorate the dresses, the cuts were oversized and the dresses were fluffy with wide ruffles. Most of the designs appeared in white, while the wedding dress was presented in a different color from the traditional, as it came in pink, and was designed from fluffy tulle with a pink wedding veil.
Feathers on the sleeves
Jean Paul Gaultier presented her fall collection in collaboration with designer Olivier Rousteing, who presented a bouquet of dresses and bold designs, consistent with the previous looks of the house. His outfits came with wide and long sleeves decorated with huge feathers, and innovative designs appeared in the collection, including the blazer-shaped skirt.

Ashi Studio is inspired by the book The Waves, the collection bears the same name. The colors of the dresses were calm and with striking designs, following the same approach by the international fashion houses, where feathers and sparkling beads were used in some pieces.
