According to him, so that the audience can feel the sensation of deep horror, he repeatedly looks for it sound the perfect way to describe the atmosphere.
Even though he had a hard time finding what he was talking regarding, finally Joko Anwar found it sound which is appropriate when played using instruments made of human bones.
“There’s even one sound specifically, we created from instruments made of human bones,” said Joko Anwar.
“So there’s one sound what we were looking for and didn’t find, we finally found it from indeed a musical instrument made of human bones whose name is this,” he added, pointing to the words ‘Kangling’.
For those who don’t know, Kangling can generally be interpreted as a flute musical instrument.
Kangling is the Tibetan name for a trumpet or horn made from the tibia or human femur.
Usually this musical instrument is used in Tibetan Buddhism for various rituals chow (Yundrung Bönserta tradition) and also at the funeral of chop (religious leader).
