Here are the Heinekicks: shoes whose soles are filled with Heineken beer

archyde news innovation in the field of beer is not new.

Older people will no doubt remember Miller’s bottle openers and interactive adventures of Miville and Legrand for the Molson Far North.

But in recent years, due to alcohol restrictions in many countries, the concepts of beer pubs were let’s say… less splintered.

Fortunately, to reverse this trend, creatives who are really creative have had the idea (we do not know why) to invent shoes that contain the new Heineken Silver beer.

The famous Dutch brand teamed up with shoe designer Dominic Ciambone, who makes a career as ‘The Shoe Surgeon’ to create the Heinekicks.

The Heinekicks highlight the brand’s iconic colors (green, red and white), as well as its famous star logo.

But above all, their translucent soles are filled, by a unique and secret process, with Heineken Silver beer.

Those who wear them can therefore walk on beer, a seemingly comfortable and singular sensation.

“Partnering with Heineken for their new beer was a fun challenge. We both share a passion for innovation and pushing boundaries and have created a design to reflect that. The shoe not only embodies the energy of Heineken Silver, but literally wears it. I can’t say I’ve ever designed a shoe that had real ale in it before,” Ciambone said.

To get these great creations, however, you will have to put in a lot of effort.

You will first have to move to Singapore and hope to be in the right place at the right time to buy one of the 32 pairs that will be put on the market.

The first seven would also be available by the end of the year, at a price that has not yet been disclosed.

As a reason to go to Singapore, however, you can hardly do better.
