“5 months to win $13 million, thank you Minnesota! »

Arrived in Minneapolis last September via a transfer (the Clippers first sent him to Memphis then, 9 days later, the Grizzlies sent him to Wolves), Patrick Beverley served as currency for Rudy Gobert’s trade in early July. Five months earlier, however, he had signed a one-year extension with the Timberwolves.

For some fans, the franchise did not respect the point guard, with whom the team hung the playoffs. This is not his point of view at all, as he explained during a live:

“Someone says ‘Wolves did something wrong with you’. No. People think Wolves haven’t been fair to me, I’m like ‘it’s all business man, I’m a business, man (ref to Jay-Z)’. Do the math, I arrived there in September. In February I signed my contract extension, for 13 million dollars.

It took me 5 months to make $13 million. So I don’t think they made fun of me, no, on the contrary! Thank you Minnesota! »
