“Excellent Port”: Spider-Man: Remastered PC Ratings, Comparisons and Steam Deck Gameplay

Coming out this Friday on Steam and EGS Marvel’s Spider-Man: Remastered by Insomniac Games and Nixxes Software. Two days before the release, reviews of the port appeared on the net, as well as gameplay and comparisons with the console versions.

Among Sony’s PC ports, Spider-Man is currently the second most rated. The average rating of the game on Metacritic is at the mark 87 pointssecond only to God of War, which received 93/100 for the PC version. The previously released Horizon: Zero Dawn and Days Gone on the same aggregator have 84/100 and 76/100, respectively.

The game has full support for all gamepads using the Steam API, and correctly displays buttons for Xbox and PlayStation controllers. When playing on DualSense, features are used PS5 version with more accurate haptic feedback and support for adaptive triggers.”

Game Revolution: “With the PC version of Spider-Man: Remastered, gamers will get the most eye-pleasing version of Spider-Man with full graphics options. That’s exactly what we want from PlayStation games coming to PC.”

GamingShop: “The PC release is basically the best way to play Marvel’s Spider-Man: Remastered. In addition to great performance, the PC version supports some niche PC features, including the Steam Controller, and Steam Deck compatibility means the game can run and on Linux.
