Kholoud Al Zarooni, Head of the UAE Chess Team, expressed her pride in what the UAE women’s chess team has achieved during its participation in the 44th World Chess Olympiad, which was held in Chennai, India, and won the third place and bronze medal, in Category C, in addition to the honorable results. Achieved by the men’s team.
She explained to “Sharjah 24” that the tournament witnessed great competition between the participating teams in 11 rounds, and the UAE women’s team presented honorable results in this tournament.
The head of the UAE chess team dedicated this achievement to the wise leadership of the UAE, expressing her thanks and gratitude for their support for chess and the players.
