The Family Development Foundation organizes various summer cultural initiatives and workshops for children, youth and all members of society within the Zayed Humanitarian Library, which is a pioneering cultural project adopted by the Foundation, under the directives of Her Highness Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, President of the General Women’s Union, Supreme President of the Family Development Foundation and President of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood «Um» Emirates”, with the aim of dedicating the achievement laid down by its first building blocks, the founder of the state, Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, in support of the creators and the renewed cultural movement that the country is witnessing.
The various initiatives and summer workshops organized by the Family Development Foundation aim to enhance the human role and achieve development through valuable knowledge and experiences to serve the community, as well as borrowing people to benefit from their experiences and knowledge among community members, in addition to contributing to achieving sustainable social development.
This year, the Zayed Humanitarian Library hosted a number of influential people, writers and intellectuals, and carried out a number of workshops and cultural meetings aimed at highlighting the role of culture in various occasions and seasons and ways to activate them, and providing a platform for children and youth to showcase their talents and skills and present them to the community and contribute to their development, and stimulate creativity and innovation among individuals community and their families. Creating a loving relationship between the child and the book to encourage reading and learning, creating an innovative generation capable of thinking outside the box, giving the child an opportunity to be trained and innovative, as well as enhancing the cultural aspect of family members, highlighting cultural identity, and promoting various social values, in addition to promoting Volunteer work to contribute to building effective youth leaders.
