Russia says it has eliminated 21 US fighters in Ukraine in a month

Russian forces have eliminated 21 “American mercenaries” in Ukraine in the last four weeks, according to the daily part released by the Ministry of Defense of Russia.

“From July 8 to August 5 as a result of attack actions by the forces of Russia and the militias of the Donetsk and Luhansk People’s Republics the number of mercenaries in Ukraine decreased from 2,741 to 2,192,” military spokesman Igor Konashenkov said.

Konashenkov added that among the foreign fighters who were eliminated there are 21 Americans, 33 Romanians and 36 Canadians.

At the same time, the highest number of fatalities was recorded among the Polish mercenaries, who lost 99 combatants, according to Russia.
