The news of the dispute between Elissa and Ziad Bourji topped the press and social media news in the past two days, following Elissa’s statement in her meeting with “Aghani Aghani”, through which she announced a new song that she will release in mid-August, from the words of Ahmed Madi and composed by Ziad Burji.
Elissa, during the meeting that Ziad Bourji gathered with Firas Halima in the scenes of their last concert at the Casino du Liban, revealed that the name of the song would be “Wetbir” or “I and Only”, but she did not say the name of the poet Ahmed Madi, and she used Ziad to answer it.
During the meeting, Elisa referred to Ziad Burji to say the name of the poet, so it seems that she forgot the name because of her focus on the concert. The meeting took place minutes before her ascension to the stage, but the poet Ahmed Madi considered the topic to be intended despite the spontaneity that appeared to Elisa during the meeting, so he published a video clip From a previous interview with him on the “What is the Story” program, in which he talked regarding his cooperation with Elissa, and commented on the video, saying: “Everyone does his work, Karmal gave Ziad Atita the song, and Karmal Khayyi Ziyad did not respond to it, I will leave the response to the conscience of the people.”
In turn, Elisa commented on what happened, and revealed in a tweet to her on Twitter that I am exacerbating the problem, explaining many facts to her, so she wrote: “One responds to the communication sites, and one speaks and tells private stories or whats up, your picture remains sweet! But I saw the real face following you.” Today, in fact, I am very shocked by the dragon, and for sure, this is the last cooperation with Hani the Dragon.
In her response, Elissa confirmed that the dispute would not affect the release of the song, and she said: “The rich is mine, so I am sure I will go downstairs, and because I promised people in me too.”
Followers interacted with this controversy, and the social media witnessed a campaign of support for Elissa, the most prominent of which was the tweet published by Diana Haddad, in which she wrote: “My life is good, spontaneous and reconciled with herself, God bless her.”
