Barcelona celebrates by six and wins the Joan Gamper Cup

Less than a week before the start of the Spanish League, the newcomers to Barcelona presented a remarkable performance on Sunday, led by Polish striker Robert Lewandowski, who opened the scoring since the third minute with a shot from a narrow angle.

Barcelona waited only a few seconds to add the second through Badri (4), before scoring the third following five minutes by Frenchman Ousmane Dembele following a pass from the other newcomer, Brazilian Rafinha.

And then Lewandowski played the role of the passer in the fourth goal, which Badri also scored (19), then the result remained unchanged until the beginning of the second half, when it was the turn of Gabonese striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to score the fifth (49) before the Dutchman Francke de Jong added the sixth before the end of the meeting (83).

The match witnessed the participation of French Jules Conde for the first time in the Catalan club’s colors following entering in the 61st minute, while the other Danish newcomer, Andreas Christensen, was absent due to neck aches.
