Using the Siam Commercial Bank app to pay for goods and services while abroad
Personally, I have never tried using PromptPay to make transactions while abroad. We use only to order products in Thailand. or sometimes buy products in Sweden byPayment via Siam Commercial Bank credit card only. After that we will pay for the product. and those services through the app SCB EASY once more while abroad This can be done as normal as a general money transfer.
Usually using a debit card or credit card in Sweden The code must be entered to verify the transaction. but for those of us who used to live in Thailand and is good at signing on the end of the payment slip We didn’t even know what our credit card code was when we first came to Sweden. and use SCB credit card to pay for products for the first time The staff asked us to enter the code to confirm the transaction. We stood confused in Dong Farang, what is the code? I’m only in Thailand and I’ve never entered a credit card code even once!! But following informing the salesperson that I don’t really remember and asked to verify my identity via Thai ID card. and passport to sign at the end of the slip Everything went well, so remembering credit card password or debit card It is more convenient than signing a slip when purchasing goods and services while abroad.
Using the SCB EASY app in trading various funds while abroad
To buy various funds while abroad We can make transactions through the SCB EASY app. same as money transfer or payment of goods and services but for the sale of funds We need a Thai number. to obtain a temporary verification code; or OTP in the transaction only And that’s the reason why we need to turn on roaming to use abroad. other than using the phone to call home in Thailand
