The New York Liberty and Marine Johannès dominated by the Phoenix Mercury in the WNBA

The New York Liberty, fifth in the Eastern Conference and in search of a place in the play-offs, was beaten at the Phoenix Mercury (76-62) on Saturday, one week before the end of the WNBA regular season. Marine Johannès, the French rear of Liberty, played 15 minutes, for six points scored, three rebounds and three assists.

Five teams are currently qualified for the play-offs: the Chicago Sky, the Connecticut Sun (without Bria Hartley, injured) and the Washington Mystics in the East, the Las Vegas Aces (Iliana Rupert) and the Seattle Storm (by Gabby Williams) in the West. Atlanta and New York (Eastern conference), Dallas, Phoenix, Minnesota and Los Angeles (Western conference) can still qualify.
