With the new interest rate, how much money does a fixed term of $50,000 give?

The latest measures taken by the Central Bank of the Argentine Republic (BRCA) with respect to the nominal income of 30-day fixed terms, was to increase it from 53% to 61% per year (TNA), that is, it increased 8 points percentages for constitutions of human persons for amounts of up to $10 million.

In this way, any saver who deposits $50,000 within 30 days will receive an amount of $2,540 following that period. However, it must be taken into account that the Central Bank raises the interest rate every month according to inflation, so that at the end of the year the amount might increase considerably.

The interest rate of the fixed terms that was paid until a few months ago was 4.4% per month. A figure that was below the inflation of each month, since in June it was 5.3% and in May it was 5.1%. Even the new monthly rate is below these percentages.
