Because of a match .. a player sends his brother to replace him as a groom at his wedding

Sierra Leonean player Mohamed Boya Toray, striker for the Swedish club Malmo, missed his wedding following the club asked to join him as soon as possible, in preparation for a match with him.

The wedding was scheduled for July 21, but Malmö club wanted the 27-year-old to join him as soon as possible, in preparation for a match with him.

The 27-year-old signed with the Swedish team following a spell in the Chinese Super League, and Malmo announced the deal on July 22 following traveling to his country, so Toray missed the party and traveled instead to Sweden.

But in a cunning plan, as described by the Daily Mail, and because he was unable to be in two places at once, Toray’s brother switched places with him at the wedding to walk down the aisle alongside the bride, Souad Baydon.

Toray published 3 pictures of him and his new wife through his accounts on social networking sites, but he confirmed that those pictures were taken before the actual event and his departure to Sweden.

“We got married on July 21 in Sierra Leone, but I wasn’t there because Malmo Club asked me to arrive early,” Mohamed Boya Toray said, in comments reported by Swedish newspaper Aftonbladet.

He added: “We took the photo beforehand, so it looks like I was there, but I wasn’t, my brother had to represent me at the actual wedding.”

The player concluded his speech by saying: “I will try to move my wife to Sweden and Malmo now so that she is close to me .. She will live here with me.”
