15 dead in Israeli raids on Gaza, the PJD calls for an end to the aggression

Fifteen Palestinians dead and 55 others injured. This is the assessment of the Israeli raids carried out on Friday on the Gaza Strip, revealed by the Palestinian Minister of Health.

According to the Palestinian news agency Wafa, Israeli aircraft shelled the Gaza Strip, while artillery pounded agricultural lands and positions in different parts of the strip.

The Israeli army claimed that 15 people were killed in these air raids, specifying that the operation targeted the Islamic Jihad movement.

The Palestinian presidency condemned “Israeli aggression once morest Gaza” and demanded its immediate end, while holding “the occupation responsible for the dangerous escalation”.

The presidency also called on the international community to compel Israel to end the aggression once morest the Palestinian people everywhere, especially in Gaza, and to provide them with international protection.

For his part, Palestinian Prime Minister Muhammad Shtayyeh denounced and condemned “Israeli aggression once morest the Gaza Strip”, holding the Israeli occupation fully responsible for this dangerous escalation.

“We demand that the international community ensure the protection of our people and the immediate cessation of Israeli aggression once morest the Gaza Strip,” he said in a statement.

In Morocco, the Justice and Development Party (PJD, Islamist opposition) denounced, in a press release from its general secretariat, the recent Israeli “aggressions” on Gaza and called on the international community to stop them.

The Lamp formation also reiterated its “support” for the Palestinian resistance, and its “refusal” of normalization with Israel.
