Concern about Biden’s health .. Corona test positive for the US President for the seventh time

Doctor Kevin O’Connor said that US President Joe Biden tested positive for Corona once more Friday, and that his cough problem was almost completely resolved.

O’Connor confirmed that Biden “still feels a lot better,” despite his recurrence of COVID-19. Such relapsing infections have been observed in some patients taking antiviral therapy Baxilovid.

“His temperature, pulse, blood pressure, respiratory rate and oxygen saturation remain completely normal this morning, his SARS-CoV-2 antigen test remained positive,” O’Connor wrote.

Today’s test result is the seventh for the US president, and Biden is expected to continue isolation at the White House residence until he tests negative.

The president first tested positive on July 21, and he ended his isolation last week before he tested positive once more on Saturday.

On Wednesday, Biden did light exercise and had no fever and his vital signs remained normal, O’Connor said.

O’Connor said his cough returned on Tuesday but nearly recovered by Friday, and the White House announced earlier Friday a trip to Kentucky, where the president will survey damage in the wake of the deadly flooding. The White House said Biden needs a negative test in order to get out of isolation.
