Today, Friday, the Iraqi Artists Syndicate mourned the artist Saad Majid, who passed away due to a terminal illness.

And a neighbor, the late Iraqi artist, was found unconscious, in mid-July, and he was transferred to Al-Kindi Hospital, in poor health.

Medical sources had revealed at the time that “the late artist suffered a severe stroke.”

At the time, the news of Saad Majid’s death spread, before the head of the union, Jabbar Joudi, denied it. Today, his death was announced by the union through its account on “Facebook”.

It is noteworthy that the Iraqi artist, Saad Majeed, was born in Baghdad. He began his artistic career in “dubbing” and participated in the first part of the famous children’s program “Open Sesame”.

He had two artistic experiences in the nineties of the last century in Jordan, then he stopped dubbing, before returning to his activity in 2009, with practical dubbing in Syria.

He began his television career in the series (Wad Al-Zaman) by Nabil Youssef, the first drama series in 1986, as well as his role in the series (Staying Alive in Iraq) directed by Akram Kamel and author Hamid Al-Maliki.

The series “AIDS”, which was filmed in Syria, is considered a milestone in Saad Majid’s career. He also caught attention in the series “Sawad Al-Layl”, and also participated in many other series.

The late artist is considered one of the most prominent directors of dramatic production in Iraq.

The artist, Saad Majeed, married his fellow artist, Alaa Hussein, in 2003, before they announced their separation, and they did not have any children.
