Elections in Senegal: “The opposition, through Sonko, was able to crystallize all the demands”

The provisional results of the Senegalese legislative elections therefore place power and opposition neck and neck. Eighty-two deputies for the presidential camp, 80 for the opposition coalition, and three small parties which are taking an unexpected place in the political game by becoming potential majority makers. The opposition, in any case, made a real breakthrough. How to analyze it? What are the possible political scenarios following such results? Political science researcher Moussa Diaw, from the University of Saint-Louis, answers questions from RFI.
