The anniversary of the Beirut port bombing reveals Iranian hegemony | Khairallah Khairallah

The second anniversary of the Beirut Port bombing disaster, which occurred on August 4, 2020 has passed. It is a disaster that can only be included in the context of the destruction of the Lebanese capital with all that it symbolizes from belonging to the country to the culture of life.

Two years following the disaster, there is no one who wants to know the truth regarding what happened among Lebanese officials, knowing that President Michel Aoun received a report, several days before the Beirut port bombing, warning of the disaster. This is video and audio installed. But what should be done when the President of the Republic refuses to assume his responsibilities and work following that in order to prevent an international investigation into the bombing of the port of Beirut?

Does Michel Aoun fear that the international investigation will reveal who brought ammonium nitrate to the port of Beirut in 2013 and who stored it in one of the wards for years? Is he afraid that the international investigation will play the role played by the International Tribunal for Lebanon, which clearly determined who was behind the assassination of Rafik Hariri on the 4th of February 2005 and who carried out the crime not far from the port of Beirut… by means of a large number of explosives?

The elimination of Beirut is only an essential link in the process of eliminating Lebanon and changing its identity once and for all, following turning it into a land expelling its people, especially for Christians among these.

This is a mission that Michel Aoun assumed in the late eighties of the last century when he resided for the first time in Baabda Palace between September-September 1988 and October-October 1990. “Hezbollah” brought the presidential duo Michel Aoun-Gibran Bassil on the last day of October-October 2016 in order to Complete this task. The Beirut port bombing is only part of this trend.

If this was not the case, why is there no explanation, until now, for the President of the Republic, immediately following the disaster, cutting off the road to any international investigation into what is considered the largest non-nuclear explosion the world has witnessed in modern times?

The indifference to the disaster of the Beirut bombing indicates the extent to which the presidential duo (Michel Aoun – Gebran Bassil) acquiesced to “Hezbollah”, which did everything in its power to seize the position of the presidency following it was able to make the largest sect in Lebanon, the Sunni sect, in a state of indifference. fragmentation. There is no longer any leadership of any kind for the Sunnis in Lebanon.

What is certain is that the Beirut port bombing and what followed the disaster represent the scandal of the scandals associated with the “strong covenant”, which is in fact the “Hezbollah era”. It is also certain that it is possible to talk regarding many countless scandals, starting with the absence of electricity and the collapse of the banking system, and the President of the Republic, from the beginning, prevented the issuance of judicial formations following it became clear that what is required is politicizing the judiciary in order to end any advantage that Lebanon enjoyed in the past. The politicization of the judiciary as an independent authority means, among other things, that Lebanon has become like Syria, which has been ruled by the military and security services since 1963, and has become like Iraq, which is under Iranian hegemony…or Iran itself, where the judiciary since 1979 has served a regime in which there is no place for any justice from what kind…

The “strong covenant” succeeded in finally bringing Lebanon into the totalitarian regimes.

The obstruction of the investigation, which is the obstruction of the judicial authority, which is expressed in the disaster of the port of Beirut, confirms the gendarmerie that Lebanon has reached in the presence of Michel Aoun – Gibran Bassil in Baabda Palace. It turned out that the presidential duo is more effective than former President Emile Lahoud, who sought to prevent the establishment of the International Tribunal for the assassination of Prime Minister Rafik Hariri and his companions more than 17 years ago. Emile Lahoud called for the crime scene to be cleaned up quickly so that people might return to their work, describing the crime as “vulgarity”. He mightn’t. There was an Arab and international embrace of Lebanon despite everything that Vladimir Putin did in the Security Council, at the time, in order to provide certain guarantees to Hezbollah and the Syrian regime in the text of the resolution issued by the Council, which is the resolution according to which the International Tribunal was established.

The tragedy of Lebanon in the year 2022 in that the Arab and international abandonment. No one in the region and the world wants to know anything regarding the bombing of the port of Beirut and how the bombing happened. Beirut no longer matters to anyone. All in the matter is that what Emile Lahoud failed to do in 2005 was succeeded by the presidential duo in the year 2020 when he stood as an impenetrable dam in the face of the revelations of those behind the bombing of the port of Beirut and the destruction of part of the capital. It is no secret that the party who facilitated the task of the presidential duo, who is driven by hatred for any success more than anything else, and who took it upon himself to eliminate any attempt to restore life to the institutions of the Lebanese state, starting with the disruption of the judiciary.

Justice is the basis of ruling. This slogan is absent from a country in which the only justice has become justice in the service of a catastrophic twist on the scale of the Beirut Port bombing… in order to avoid knowing the truth. There is a truth that needs to be hidden in a country where there is no justice or king. The bombing of the port of Beirut, which destroyed a third of the Lebanese capital and left more than two hundred dead, in addition to thousands of wounded, a number of whom sustained permanent disabilities, indicates one thing. This is the extent of the hegemony of “Hezbollah” and its successor, Iran, over Lebanon. Moreover, the bombing gives an idea of the inability of any Lebanese official to conduct any investigation into any case of any kind, in case this affects Iran from near or far.
