On the dollar front, the highest exchange rate was recorded for the American paper Against the Egyptian pound at Abu Dhabi Islamic and Al-Ahly Kuwaiti banks at 19.04 pounds for purchase, and 19.07 pounds for sale.
In 5 banks led by the Ahli United Bank and the Commercial International Bank – Egypt, the dollar exchange rate recorded a level of 19.01 pounds for purchase, and 19.07 pounds for sale. The exchange rate of the US green paper reached 19 pounds for purchase, and 19.07 pounds for sale at Credit Agricole – Egypt and Cairo Bank.
In 3 banks, led by the largest government banks in Egypt, namely the National Bank of Egypt and Banque Misr, the dollar exchange rate reached 18.99 pounds for purchase, and 19.05 pounds for sale. While its exchange rate at the Central Bank of Egypt reached 18.98 pounds for purchase, and 19.09 pounds for sale.
The lowest dollar exchange rate in 11 banks led by the Mashreq and the Suez Canal was at 18.97 pounds for purchase, and 19.07 pounds for sale.
The euro exchange rate also rose in early trading this morning in government and private banks. Where its exchange rate at the Central Bank of Egypt reached 19.40 pounds for purchase, and 19.51 pounds for sale. The price of the euro rose at the National Bank of Egypt and Banque Misr to regarding 19.33 pounds for purchase, and 19.60 pounds for sale.
The exchange rate of the pound sterling at the Central Bank of Egypt increased to regarding 23.18 pounds for purchase, and 23.32 pounds for sale. It also rose at the National Bank of Egypt and Banque Misr to regarding 23.13 pounds for purchase, and 23.39 pounds for sale.
In the Arab world, the exchange rate of the Saudi riyal at the Central Bank of Egypt rose to the level of 5.05 pounds for purchase, and 5.08 pounds for sale. It also recorded in the National Bank of Egypt and Banque Misr a level of 5.05 pounds for purchase, and 5.07 pounds for sale.
The exchange rate of the UAE dirham at the Central Bank of Egypt increased to 5.16 pounds for purchase, and 5.19 pounds for sale. The Kuwaiti dinar exchange rate also rose to the level of 61.88 pounds for purchase, and 62.31 pounds for sale.
