Soumitri Saspruham, just greetings

I asked Raghavan.

One day, Lakshmana devoutly came to Raghava, who was a recluse, and recited the kriyamargam, i.e. the rituals of worship. Narayanarchanas are salvific. Yogindras say that this is how Vyasa, Brahman and Narada realized Purusharthas! Rama advises Kriyamargam on Lakshmana’s request.

Narayana Puja is unlimited. It is clear that even Harinama Keertanam was created in that consciousness. God is in letters, in fire, in idols and in one’s mind. Seeing Narayana Pratima, hearing Narayana Shrutis, doing Narayanacharanas, and whatever else, it is all Narayani! That principle is the same here as in the verb method.

Only one thing is very important, one has to attain duality first. Dvijatvam can be taken to mean inner sanctity. It will never be Brahmin by birth. And meditation. Describes Atma Puja, idol worship, Agnihotra etc. Rama instructs Lakshmana in a very detailed manner of action. Rama also conveys the broad Vedic concept that Agni and himself are one. And the Parishads should also be given share. Perfection is when the udvasakriya is also recited. Thus Kriyamargam asserts that the devotee who performs karma according to the destiny attains Ramasarupyam and attains salvation.

Although there are many varieties and embellishments of worship, it is a combination of many verbs. Dance, Geetha, Mantrocharan, Rupa and Abhishekam are all important in this. Above all of them, the all-important Manasapuja is also enshrined. The principle that Anta:rangam is the basis of everything is realized in this guidance.
