The weekly incidence rate rose to 212 per 100,000 inhabitants for the whole of Polynesia and to 252 per 100,000 inhabitants on the island of Tahiti alone. A rate that always remains “probably undervalued”, but still “the downward trend seems to be confirmed”, advance the bulletin. The figures for hospitalizations are also very optimistic. Only one patient is currently being cared for by Uturoa hospital due to Covid, with no more patients in the intensive care unit for several days.
