It has been confirmed that for the first time, the 2022 Pokémon World Championships will include tournaments for both Pokémon Go et pokemon unite.
Heading to London for the first time, the 2022 Pokémon World Championships will take place from August 18-21.
Invited players will be able to compete for the title of world champion in the official trading card game, Pokémon Sword and Shield et Tournoi Smallpox DXas well as competitions newly introduced in Pokémon Go et pokemon unite.
To accommodate all players coming to London for this event and to celebrate the return of the World Championships, play for all featured titles will be stretched over several days of the event period. All Championship matches will also be streamed live via Twitch.
The winner of Pokémon Go tournament will walk away with $10,000 (£8,200) while the winning team of Link will split $100,000 (£82,000).

To coincide with the 2022 Pokémon World Championships, a special pop-up shop will also appear at the ExCel Center in London from August 17-21, featuring exclusive merchandise, photo opportunities, themed areas, advanced time slot reservations and a system virtual queue for walkers. UPS.

The 2020 and 2021 editions of the Pokémon World Championships have been canceled due to COVID.
The Pokémon World Championships began in 2004 and focused primarily on the Pokemon trading card gamebut has since grown to include competitions dedicated to the main video game series and Tournoi Smallpox DX.
To celebrate the first anniversary of LinkThe Pokémon Company is adding new Pokémon, features, events, and campaigns to the title.
The celebrations will include a new quick battle mode Pika Party, which turns all Pokemon on the field into yellow electric mice and elsewhere Ultra Beast Buzzwole is added to the game.
The presentation also included new information on Pokémon Scarlet and Violetincluding confirmation that the open-world RPG would feature “three big stories” alongside legendary rideables and regional versions of existing ‘mons’.
