On the occasion of the festival Corsica on stage, Véronique Genest confided in Here Paris. “Last year I was in a play that ended in October, we didn’t have a job during the Covid. One day, jI heard on the news that the Ministry of Culture allows outdoor and seated theater and subsidizes festivals.” The 66-year-old actress would also need a lot of money to maintain her lifestyle and that of her loved ones. “I’m lucky, I have goods, savings, but they will not be eternalshe reveals. I had to take care of my mother – the retirement home cost between 5,000 and 6,000 euros per month – as well as my husband’s ex-wife. I have to earn my living, I have to work. I need 10,000 euros per month, to hold on and help those around me”.
