“Diablo: Immortal” (Diablo: Immortal) has caused controversy due to the micro-transaction fee option since its launch. Recently, some players said that they spent regarding $100,000 on the game, but they were unable to enter the PvP battlefield for nearly a month.
“Diablo: Immortal” North American server ranked No. 1 guild leader “jtisallbusiness” posted a video on YouTube saying that he has been unable to enter the PvP battlefield since last month because the system might not find an opponent to match with him. In addition, he failed to complete the “Complete 1 PvP Battlefield” guild mission in the game because he might not match his opponent, and participated in the “Battle of Exile” in which his immortal guild fought once morest the Shadow Alliance. He also pointed out that the problem has been reported to game developer Blizzard Entertainment several times, but it has never been resolved.
“jtisallbusiness” claims it is the only player in the world who has encountered this problem, adding that they spend a lot of money on the game but can’t do anything, and don’t know when the situation will improve. It is understood that “jtisallbusiness” has spent more than US$100,000 (regarding HK$784,968) in the game.
“jtisallbusiness” is considering consulting a lawyer, arguing that this issue affects his ability to profit from the game as a content creator, and asks Blizzard Entertainment to refund the amount spent. At present, Blizzard Entertainment has not fully responded to this.
