In Mouyondzi in the department of Bouenza, the voting operations for the second round of the legislative elections took place calmly.

The face to face between the candidate of the Congolese Labor Party (PCT), Jacqueline Lydia Mikolo, et Claudine Munari of the Movement for Unity, Solidarity and Work (MUST) which crystallizes the attention of public opinion, will deliver its verdict in the coming days. On July 31, in the electoral district of Mouyondzi, voters went to the polls with complete peace of mind. No notable disturbance will have prevented the populations who mobilized from fulfilling their civic duty. A climate that contrasts with the disturbances denounced by the various political sides, during the vote of July 10, 2022. The PCT candidate, Jacqueline Lydia Mikolo performed her civic act at the Moubombo polling station. On leaving the polling station, she did not hesitate to give her impressions of the vote in this second round. « We have been observing the elections since this morning and we chose to vote at midday to see how things were going. We found that in all Mouyondzi, people got up very early. There were already long lines to vote this morning. We see that everyone was able to vote serenely in peace », said the PCT candidate to the Journal de Brazza.com.
