Books – Muhammad Al-Sawy:
The security services in Cairo managed to arrest “Ibrahim”, son of the journalist Tawfiq Okasha, in possession of a quantity of “powder” drug in the Al-Nahda area.
Security sources told “Masrawy” that the accused was arrested several days ago in the Al-Nahda area of Al-Salam city, and was in possession of the drug “powder” with the intention of taking it.
For its part, the Court of Appeal set the next August 13 session, to consider the first sessions of Ibrahim Tawfiq Okasha’s trial, and another in the case of possession of narcotic substances and forgery, at the Al Salam Police Department II.
The order to refer the accused, Ibrahim Tawfiq Okasha, aged 26, and the accused “Asmaa A. A.” to the Cairo Criminal Court, stated that the first accused had been seized with the intent of taking narcotic substance “hashish, heroin, and powder”, in cases other than those authorized by law.
The investigations of the security services, which were carried out regarding the incident, confirmed that the investigator saw the first accused drop from a transparent plastic bag, containing a powder of the substance of the drug heroin. Another plastic bag containing the same substance as the previous drug, and the second defendant presented him with a plastic bag, containing the same substance as the previous drug, and they attributed their intent to use drugs.
