Segbe is very close friends with Bayern star Sadio Mané and is considered one of his closest confidants. The two met during their time together in Senegal at the Generation Foot academy. Both later moved to the French club FC Metz in Europe.
While Mané rose to become an international top star at Red Bull Salzburg and later at Liverpool FC, Segbe has played for numerous clubs across Europe in recent years.
The striker has already played in England, Luxembourg and Slovakia. Usually in lower leagues. Most recently, he was under contract with USL Dunkerque in France until the end of June. In the previous season, however, the attacker played on loan at FC Dinamo Bucharest. Segbe has played for a total of nine different clubs since 2013.
Segbe is not planned for Julian Nagelsmann’s pros, but will play for the FCB amateurs in the Bavarian regional league in the future. The transfer appears to be a friendly service for Mané. It will still be exciting to see how Segbe beats the amateurs.
