Ha Tae-kyung “I quit acting as party leader… I should be responsible for the president’s chief of staff”

Rep. Ha Tae-kyung of People’s Power said, “I think the chief of staff should be responsible for the reorganization of the presidential office.”

In today’s MBC radio’s ‘Kim Jong-bae’s Concentration’, when the host asked, ‘Isn’t the essence of the problem the fact that the president’s support for state affairs has fallen to the 20% level?’ “I think I should come out,” he said, adding, “The acting party representative has left, but I think the chief of staff at the same level should be held accountable.”

Rep. Ha said, “Emergency response is necessary in a crisis situation, consistent management of messages is necessary, but door stepping was not prevented.”

Regarding the next chief of staff, he added, “I would like to use someone who has political skills, especially among those who can read the president’s mind well.”

Regarding the transition to the emergency response committee system through the resignation of the leadership, Rep. Ha said in favor of “there is no other alternative.”

Regarding the situation in which Supreme Councilor Kim Yong-tae and others have not resigned, he said, “It is because of concerns that Lee Jun-seok might be blocked from returning. If the date is nailed down, then there is no reason for CEO Lee not to agree to the launch of the non-captain,” he insisted.

“The bigger question is whether the non-captain will do well in the future,” he said, emphasizing that “we should not be subordinated to the president” regarding the appointment of the non-commissioned chairperson in the future.
