Dr. Rasha El-Gendy, Professor of Mental Health at Beni Suef University, said that there is an addiction to social media, so no one can dispense with his phone for a day, and it is unfortunate that there is belief and lack of awareness of what is being raised on social media.
Rasha Al-Jundi added, in a telephone interview to the program “Open the Door of Your Heart”, broadcast on CBC with the lawyer Amira Bahey El-Din, that whoever has awareness of the dangers of social media can quit it and what it broadcasts, so the person must understand what the communication sites publish.
Dr. Rasha Al-Jundi continued: “There are jobs that require sitting on social media constantly, but this is not negative because the nature of their work is that, but the fear for the young age who sits in front of phones and social networking sites and believes the rumors they broadcast.”
