There was barely 5 mm of rain recorded in Uccle, the reference station of the Royal Meteorological Institute, once morest 3 mm in 1885. The normal average in July is around 70 mm of rain, explained David Dehenauw.

According to other elements of the climatological report of the IRM, the absolute temperature record recorded in Belgium was also not beaten this month. It still dates back to July 25, 2019, when there were 41.8 degrees in Begijnendijk, Flemish Brabant.
