Books – Abdel Fattah Al-Ajmi:
The star, Amal Maher, published a picture of her with her only son, “Omar”, from her ex-husband, composer Mohamed Dia, taken for them from the scenes of her big concert, last Friday evening, in the new Arena of El Alamein.
Amal commented on the photo she posted on her Instagram account, saying: “Everything for me.”
Amal Maher’s photo with her son, “Omar”, received wide circulation on social media, where he appeared following he became a young man, as his last appearance was in 2015 in a photo session with his mother, and he was 9 years old at the time.
Amal Maher’s son appeared in the new photo, holding his mother on his hands, to celebrate her return to singing following retirement for regarding a year, and 3 years following her last concert, which was held at Al-Manara Theater to celebrate the release of her album “The Origin of Sensation”.
On Friday evening, the star Amal Maher performed a concert in the new Arena of El Alamein, following a long period of absence.
Amal Maher enthralled her audience with a set of her most famous songs, including: “Brick upon Brick”, “You are arrogant”, “I am satisfied with the origin”, and “Fear our Lord in me”, which she asked the audience to participate in singing with her, and others.
She also presented two new songs for her at the ceremony: “Atom of Manliness” from the words of Tariq Shams, and the writing was shared by the composer and distributor of the song Osama Sami, and “The Story in two scenes” from the words of Amr Yahya, composed by Mustafa Al-Assal, and distributed by Karim Osama.
Among the attendees of the ceremony, Minister of Youth and Sports Ashraf Sobhi, Minister of Social Solidarity Nevin Al-Kabbaj, artist Ilham Shaheen and others.
The singer, Amal Maher, returned to revive the concerts, following the absence and many rumors, which she herself denied in a video, a telephone intervention and a new photo session.
