Bam: Adama Jean Yves Beré installed High Commissioner
Kongoussi, July 30, 2022, (AIB)-Adama Jean Yves Beré was installed as High Commissioner of Bam province on July 29, 2022 in Kongoussi by the Secretary General of the Center-North region Robert Zoungrana.
Appointed by the Council of Ministers on July 13, 2022, Adama Jean Yves Beré, a civil administrator by training, replaces in this position the civil administrator Ali Ouédraogo who spent 2 years and 10 months there.
The handover took place in the presence of the living forces of the province. Through their representative the Zitenga Naaba Tigré, they promised to support High Commissioner Beré in his tasks.
Addressing the audience following his installation, Mr. Beré thanked the authorities of his ministry who placed their trust in him, while reassuring that he will work to achieve the objectives set for him.
“A liner has been placed on my shoulders, and I will practice not to disappoint,” he stressed.
Adama Jean Yves Beré also invited the different social strata of Bam to sincerely accompany him in the various actions he will undertake for the development of the province.
To the place of his predecessor Ali Ouédraogo, he reiterated his gratitude to him while specifying that he will register his action in continuity through the furrows already traced.
The secretary general of the Center-North region Robert Zoungrana indicated that the new high commissioner is an experienced administrator having already held the same position in Passoré and recently in Fada N’Gourma.
He, on behalf of the governor of the Centre-north, urged the various active forces of Bam to support him in the accomplishment of this new mission.
