Egyptian actress Mayan El-Sayed was a guest on the DMC evening program, presented by Ramy Radwan, and revealed that she was harassed during her artistic career.
Mayan Al-Sayed said: “The first time someone harassed me, I was in school and he said, ‘Come, I will release you to my apartment and the Christmas tree.
Mayan El-Sayed added that she had thought for a while regarding retiring from acting permanently, because of the attack on her and verbal insults at her.
She confirmed that she was attacked by a group of the public, because of a video she posted on the social media, and the comments of some of the audience were strange and offensive.
Mayan Al-Sayed confirmed in her dialogue that she contacted a friend of hers and talked to him regarding retiring from art, and he advised her not to take this decision, noting that she is not angry at criticism or ordinary speech, but from outrageous and unacceptable words.
Mayan El-Sayed’s last work was her participation in the series “The Choice 3”, which was shown last Ramadan, and her embodiment of the role of “Aya”, the daughter of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi.
