Meanwhile, Russia’s missile attack on the Aviation Academy in the central Ukrainian city of Kropyvnytskyi. Five people were killed and 25 injured in Thursday’s attack, the local governor said. The governor of the Kirovohrad region, Andriy Rykovich, told a news conference that two missiles hit hangars at the National Aviation University Flight Academy around 12:20 p.m. Among the wounded were 12 soldiers, the Interfax-Ukraine news agency reported, citing Rykovich. Two civilian aircraft and one AN-26 aircraft were destroyed in the attack. Russia did not comment on the report.
