On July 26, 2022, Congo Terminal signed a partnership with the association the “Club of women artists painters and sculptors” in acronym CFAPS for the recycling of tires. Recycled tires become furniture or decorative arts. The partnership concluded with this association provides for the regular provision of used tires depending on the activity. These are distributed equitably among the members of the association. Members make furniture and build structures out of used tires and other materials including plastic, tin can wrappers, etc. At this tire 17 used tires were handed over to the association on Friday July 01, 2022 in the presence of Fridje BILONGUI, environment assistant of the HSE pole accompanied by agents from the technical department.
