Spectacular double change in the Bundesliga |
record transfer! Leipzig gets space until 2027
Now it was going really well! The change from Hoffenheim’s defense star David Raum to (24) RB Leipzig is fixed. Sky also reports on the transfer.
According to BILD information, Leipzig pays just over 25 million for the national player (9 international matches). He gets a contract until 2027 and will be a guest at the Supercup in Leipzig on Saturday evening, but will not play yet.
BILD also learned from the dressing room: left-back Angelino (25) will leave the club in return, probably to Hoffenheim. However, as an independent transfer!
With space, RB is fishing for one of the most sought-following defenders in the Bundesliga. After Dortmund dealt intensively with the player, but did not get the necessary money for a transfer, RB now struck.
In recent years, the people of Leipzig have lost out to BVB at Julian Brandt (26), Jude Bellingham (19), Jadon Sancho (22) and Erling Haaland (22).
With just over 25 million euros, Raum is a new record transfer from RB – so far that is André Silva (26), who came from Frankfurt in 2021 for 23 million euros. In terms of salary, Raum would also be in the upper range at around 6 to 7 million euros.
