I purchased Crossforest anti-glare glass film to protect my Pixel 6a’s display.
Anti-glare (non-glossy) glass films are rare. I hadn’t even heard of Crossforest before, but they were established in 2013 and had a good reputation. Of course, we also handle glare (glossy) type glass films.
Both Amazon and Rakuten will be released on August 30th, but what was I able to buy before the Pixel 6a was released?
crossforest anti glare glass film
It is a sturdy package made of resin. Glass film may break during transportation if this is not done properly.
In addition to the glass film body, the contents are common in protective films such as alcohol pads and cleaning cloths. Since it is a Japanese manufacturer, the instructions are also in Japanese.
The film is a type surrounded by a black frame. The inner part is also glued together.

Glass film, failed flashy following a long time. pic.twitter.com/oxfzvfk0iY

I failed for a long time. Since it is a glass film, it will not be difficult to install, but I failed. Careless enemy.
I reapplied it once or twice, but I gave up because the tape mightn’t remove the dust inside. Well, I’ve already purchased other films, so I don’t mind if this is a bridge until then… I can’t help but think of excuses.
and two days later.
All the bubbles have disappeared. There was one spot of dust and one small air bubble on the edge, but it’s nothing to worry regarding.
With recent films, most of the air bubbles will come out following one night. I’m glad I didn’t have to rush to peel it off.
Even if you take a picture from directly above, the camera is not reflected on the screen. It’s anti-glare.
No problem with fingerprint authentication
Fingerprint authentication works fine too. Immediately following pasting it, I felt that it would be delayed for a moment, but it doesn’t bother me.
The black border on the edge covers the screen slightly
There is a black frame on the four corners, so there is an impression that the screen is slightly hidden.
Look at the letters in this “Ban’s Adventure”.
If you look at it from an angle, you can see that the visible range of the steepness is different. …but only by a very small margin. At first glance, it’s not so noticeable.
Better than expected
At first, it was a glass film that I bought with a light heart, just to wait for the usual Miyavix film to arrive, and sometimes even a glass film. However, when I used it, it was more comfortable to touch than I thought, and it suppressed the reflection well, so I had a good impression.
If possible, I prefer not to have a black border around it, but it seems that most Crossforest glass films have a black border. Still, I think that “If I buy an anti-glare glass film, I would like to include it in the next candidate.”
