Causes of premature ejaculation – Heba Kotb: a symptom, not a disease

Dr. Heba Kotb, a sexual health consultant, confirmed that premature ejaculation in men is a symptom and not a disease, noting that it results from many causes.

Kotb said during her hosting of the “One of the People” program, presented by the media, Amr Al-Leithi, that tension during intimate relationship is one of the main causes of premature ejaculation in men, because this vital process is affected by the stability of the psychological state during intercourse.

The marital relations consultant added that the lack of drinking water negatively affects the sexual health of men, stressing that dehydration is a risk factor for premature ejaculation.

She revealed that the lack of intimacy may also cause premature ejaculation, because intercourse following a long period of cessation stimulates the husband to reach orgasm before the wife.

Kotb explained that premature ejaculation may be a warning sign of a man’s infection with some diseases, such as urethritis, prostatitis and poor blood circulation.
