His marriage to Shahroura lasted only one day, and their marriage came following they danced together one night in Beirut, and the applause intensified for them following that dance, so he proposed to her, but soon they separated. Abaza was accompanied by his sister, Munira Abaza, and his daughter divided Rushdi Abaza from his foreign wife. , who were surprised by a call from Rushdi Abaza telling them to bring a marriage official because he would marry the artist Sabah.
His sister, Munira Abaza, confirmed, during her meeting with the media, Lamis Al-Hadidi, during the “Huna Al-Asema” program, that her brother’s marriage did not last more than one day from Sabah.
Sabah had spoken in a rare dialogue before his death, with the “Ten in the evening” program, presented by the journalist Wael Al-Ibrashi, regarding her relationship with the artist Rushdi Abaza, saying: “What I did not marry Rushdi Abaza did not marry me, I was dying in it and all the people would die and deliver him.”
And Al-Shahroura continued, during her talk regarding Rushdi Abaza, “I loved him very much, and when he was upset, he would sit and cry on the stairs, but his fault was a lot of intoxication, agitated and out of his feelings, when someone came to greet me, he preferred to shout, I betrayed Rushdi Abaza and all my husbands betrayed me.
