Lacustic from Villgartental present their second original composition in a music video.
“Especially in times like these, the world needs some optimism,” write Anna Huber, Emanuel Mühlmann, Gerhard Haider, Carmen Mühlmann and Lisa Niederkofler. Together they are “Lacustic”, a band from Villgratental, which has been delighting its live audience with outstanding cover versions performed at a high musical level since it was founded in 2014.
In 2018 the group, then still a quartet, performed at a Dolomitenstadt-Literaturabend and received much deserved applause. Now the Villgrater quintet presents its second original composition following the Christmas song “What counts”. This time, too, the title “Further – because we prefer to be optimists” reflects on the time we live in. The musicians pack their message into a love song, a typical Lacustic song regarding the outstanding voice of Carmen Mühlmann and, as always, perfectly arranged instrumentally.
