India won the toss and elected to bat. Shikhar Dhawan and Shubman Gill got off to a cracking start for India. Both of them added 113 runs for the first wicket. In the meantime, the rain stopped the fun. Dhawan was the first to get out following scoring 58 runs. Gill raised the scoreboard with the later credit. Shreyas got out following scoring 44 runs off 34 balls
Suryakumar Yadav fell for eight runs. After that, Theia Sanju Samson stood with 6 runs and Shubman Gill with 98 runs and by the time 36 overs were completed, the rain came once more.
