For once, Sony has unveiled the three games offered in its PS Plus subscriptions. The Japanese publisher will offer two cross-gen titles and a PS4 game next month.
Yakuza: Like A Dragon (PS4 & PS5)
It is to the Land of the Rising Sun that Sony takes us for the first title of the August offer, with Yakuza: Like a Dragon. Seventh installment of the Japanese JRPG franchise, the title puts us in the shoes of Ichiban Kasuga, the henchman of a yakuza family who has been unjustly sentenced to 16 years in prison for a crime he did not did not commit. Released, he will do everything to find the traitor who sent him behind bars and make him pay. Filled with side quests with a very strong Yakuza spirit, the title had rather convinced us when it was released in 2020.
Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1+2 (PS4 & PS5)
If there is a sports franchise on wheels that will have undeniably marked the players, it is certainly Tony Hawk’s. With the first two episodes released in 1999 and 2000, developer Neversoft paved the way for a license that will quickly become cult. Activision then titillated the nostalgic fiber of the fans with this remake of these two episodes in Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1+2. There are many fans who will demonstrate to you by A + B that these are the best episodes of the entire saga and this compilation is the perfect example.
Little Nightmares (PS4)
Little Nightmares, it’s the independent video game UFO of recent years. Released in 2017, it had us embody Six on his journey to escape the Maw, where corrupted souls reside in search of their next meal. By bringing out the child in you, you will have to solve multiple puzzles that are quite inspired, although a little too easy at times. On the other hand, we will not sulk our pleasure in front of the many rather frightening passages of the game.
The July games remain available until August 1, next Monday. After this date, they will remain in your library, but can no longer be downloaded for free if you have not done so beforehand.
