Manchester United’s new defender Lisandro Martinez has made his first appearance in front of fans.
Manchester United announced the signing of Martinez through the club’s official channel on the followingnoon of the 27th. The term of his contract is 5 years. This includes a one-year extension option.
Manchester United announced on the 17th that they had reached an agreement with Ajax to sign Martinez. At the time, Ajax reported that Martinez’s transfer fee was 57.37 million euros (regarding 76.3 billion won). If options are added to this, the transfer fee will be up to 67.37 million euros and regarding 89.6 billion won.
So Martinez became the 3rd signing of Manchester United following ten Haach took over as manager. After ten days, he made his first appearance in front of fans in a Manchester United jersey. It was the so-called ‘clothing face’.
Martinez, who officially joined Manchester United, shared his impressions of wearing the Manchester United uniform through the club channel. “It’s an honor to join this great club,” he said. “I’ve worked hard to get to this point. So I’m here now. I’m going to push myself to go further.”
