The triathlon organizer Bestzeit announced on Friday that the multiple award-winning middle-distance triathlon in St. Pölten next year will be brought forward by two weeks to May 21, 2023. This is a reaction to the recently announced move forward of the Ironman Klagenfurt.
“The Challenge St. Pölten is a traditional preparatory race for the competition in Klagenfurt,” explains Christoph Schwarz from the organizing team. “We want our athletes to have a great racing season and have pulled out all the stops to achieve that. A big thank you goes to the Challenge Family, the city of St. Pölten, the Sportland NÖ and all our partners and helpers for their flexibility in making this possible!”
The new date of the Challenge St. Pölten enables optimal preparation for the Challenge Roth and the Ironman Klagenfurt. You can already see the starting place for the Challenge St. Pölten https://challenge-stpoelten.com to back up.
Until then, anyone who would like to try out the now legendary swim of the St. Pölten Challenge in two lakes can do so this year at our Ausee Triathlon for the Blind on August 15, 2022!
A traditional triathlon in its 34th year, following the great success of the two-lake swim course of the St. Pölten Challenge, there is also the opportunity here for the first time to complete the swim in two lakes with a cross-country run in a great atmosphere.
The Traismaur triathlon will not take place this year.
